New Restaurants at Toronto Taste 2017

Toronto Taste is back at Corus Quay on Sunday, June 4. Join us as the best of Toronto’s food scene go head-to-head on the shores of Lake Ontario.

We’re excited to welcome back returning restaurants and new ones. Check out the incredible dishes from some first-time participants that will be featured in the official Toronto Taste recipe book. All attendees will have the chance to prepare all these dishes and more at home with their complimentary recipe books.
Pure Spirits Oyster House

Pure Spirits Oyster House serves up fresh fish and oysters flown in daily from around the continent and abroad, where Chef Johnathan Viau prepares electrifying, unique cuisine with a creative modern flair in The Distillery District. Check out their prosciutto wrapped shrimp with socca and lime dust, an “excellent little nibble for summertime gatherings.”

Kanpai Snack Bar

Kanpai Snack Bar has become a mainstay of Cabbagetown since 2015, where Chef Trevor Lui serves up Taiwanese street food delights, hand-crafted Canadian cocktails with a hip vibe. Their Toronto Taste recipe features their ‘Hot in Herre – Wontons Made Easy’ — delectable pork filled wontons, broth cooked and topped with an aromatic chili oil and scallions.
