Feeding the Need

As a result of the pandemic, 1 in 7 Canadians is now struggling to feed themselves and their families – an increase of more than 5 million people. The pandemic has also cancelled our biggest fundraiser, Toronto Taste, two years in a row – we are supporting more frontline food programs and working to get food to people in need with fewer funds.
From March 1 to March 31, we asked all past attendees of Toronto Taste to donate what they would have spent on tickets this year and make a donation to our Feeding the Need campaign. Our goal was to raise funds to provide food for one million meals. And thanks to donors like you, we did it – and more!
The Daniels Corporation, our long-time Toronto Taste presenting sponsor, continued their incredible support by matching donations to our Feeding the Need campaign to a max of $250,000.
Thanks to their support, the generous support of the donors listed below, and incredible donors like you, Feeding the Need raised $513,612.05 which will enable us to provide food for 1,027,224 meals!
