LCBO Spirit of Sustainability

In response to the staggering increase in communities facing food insecurity, the LCBO has launched a fundraising campaign to sustain essential food relief programs across Ontario beginning May 15.

To ensure support for various food relief models and in order to provide the greatest impact province-wide,the LCBO is taking an innovative community investment approach. Donations raised from the campaign will support Feed Ontario, Community Food Centres Canada and Second Harvest.

Customers who are able can donate $2, $5 or $10 alongside their purchase at LCBO stores across Ontario and online at

“This campaign is rooted in our Spirit of Sustainability platform to improve the well-being of Ontarians. We recognize the immense and lasting impact our fundraising campaigns have on our communities and our responsibility to answer the urgent call for support during a time of crisis,” said George Soleas, President and CEO, LCBO. “I want to thank our customers for their generosity, especially during this time, and our employees for their dedication and hard work. Because of them,we will provide necessary funding to these vital organizations that are doing tremendous work to support Ontarians during the COVID-19 pandemic and through recovery.”
